At Technom, we believe it is important that technicians are familiar with the equipment and can work safely. After thorough training consisting of an E-learning and a comprehensive practical course, technicians receive an official Technom certificate.
Trainings are designed to be accessible to everyone. Prior to the practical training, participants first follow the E-learning. This so-called Online Academy explains how products work and what the safety risks are.

An E-learning together with hands-on training contributes to increasing the quality of trainings in several ways:
Participants will be familiar with the subject matter after E-learning. All students start the practical training with the same level of knowledge.
As the E-learning covers the theoretical knowledge and key safety aspects of the products, the practical training can fully focus on the practical steps.
The E-learning can be followed at the participant’s own pace.
The E-learning contains continuous insight and control questions to challenge the student.
Students will need to refer back to the E-learning. They will also be challenged to answer questions in pairs or as a group.
Because the participants are familiar with the material, the trainer can let them work almost completely hands-on.
The trainer will analyse and assess a participant’s ability to integrate theoretical and practical knowledge.
After completing the E-learning, participants can take the practical training. This training is hands-on and participants can gain experience independently or together in small groups.
To ensure the quality of our trainings, some conditions are required. They depend on whether a training course is held at your location or at our headquarters in Zeist.

Participants must first complete the E-learning before they can take the practical training.
For both internal and external on-site training, there is a minimum number of 2 participants.
Each participant is entitled to one retake for both E-learning and practical training. Additional fees will be charged for each retake.
If any on-site waiting time is attributable to the applicant, this time will be charged in accordance with the waiting time rates.
Prior to each practical training course, the identity of a student must be established.
Additional conditions for on-site training
There must be a facility to obtain and/or drain water.
The room or environment where the training is to take place must be 25 m2 or more,
There must be no thresholds or other obstructions on the ground surface higher than 5 cm.
Entrances, corridors and doors must have a minimum clearance of 75 cm.
